Configuring the Console

The first entry in the navigation tree is Console. Clicking on the Console node opens the console configuration page. Figure 35.5 shows the page to configure the WebLogic Administration Console. This is the same page that's displayed when you click the Set Your Console Preferences link on the WebLogic administration server home page. The page contains two tabs: the Preferences tab and the Versions tab. The Console Preferences page allows customization of the attributes that control the display of the Administration Console.

When the Display Help Text attribute is disabled, help text is not displayed on any configuration page. Figure 35.6 shows the Console Preferences page with the help text disabled.

The Console Preferences page for the Versions tab is shown in Figure 35.7. This page enables you to view the WebLogic Server version information.
