Summary

Everything that happens while a Web page is loaded creates an event. Most of these events can be captured and used. Event propagation for Netscape and Internet Explorer is vastly different. Netscape uses a top-down propagation technique while Internet Explorer uses a bubbling effect to propagate events. Timers are used to create either one-shot or cyclic events.
